Day 1 - Auckland to Taupo & Huka Lodge

Day 2 - Taupo: Lake Taupo and Tongariro National Park

Drive with a local guide to the Martinborough region and Wharekauhau in the remote Palliser Bay. Stop at a boutique winery enroute. Stay in a Cottage Suite at Wharekauhau Country Estate for two nights, including pre-dinner drinks, dinner and breakfast daily. The central Lodge on the 5,000 acre property is a grand communal manor where gourmet meals and boutique wines are served. Activities offered include jet-boating, horse trekking, tours of the nearby seal colony and the surrounding wineries, and the workings of the sheep farm on the property. (Wharekauhau Country Estates, B, D)

Day 9 - Christchurch

Transfer by private vehicle to Wellington, then fly to Christchurch (flight not included). On arrival you'll be met and transferred by private vehicle to Otahuna Lodge for your two-night stay that included pre-dinner drinks, dinner and breakfast. Day 10 - Christchurch & Akaroa

Take the day to discover French-influenced Akaroa including a scenic nature cruise on the harbour that was formed by an extinct volcano. Watch for rare Hector Dolphins, New Zealand fur seals and "Little Blue penguins". Explore Akaroa village and enjoy a gourmet picnic. (Otahuna Lodge, B, L, D)

Day 11 - Queenstown

A private vehicle will transfer you to Christchurch Airport. Fly to Queenstown (flight not included). In Queenstown you'll be met and transferred in a private vehicle to Eichardt's Private Hotel where you'll stay in a mountain-view suite for 3 nights, including pre-dinner drinks and breakfast. Day 12 - Queenstown: Milford Sound

We include a Milford Sound & Fjordland tour which is a shared tour to a maximum of 6 people. Fly in a luxury helicopter from Queenstown over the clear blue waters of Lake Wakatipu, across numerous glaciers, valleys and along the length of Milford Sound. Land on the west coast and stroll along a deserted beach. Watch for seal colonies and bird life. Continue to Tutuko Glacier for the snow landing and take in the glacier, before returning to Queenstown. (Eichardt's Private Hotel, B)

Enjoy a tailor made, full day wine tour of the Central Otago vineyards. Visit the AJ Hackett Bungy Bridge and Arrowtown, and go on a Shotover Jet Boat Ride. Wine tastings at 4-6 wineries, tour New Zealand's largest underground wine cave, partake in a local cheese tasting at one of the vineyards. Includes a platter lunch at Carrick Winery with a glass of premium wine, before a short stroll through historic Old Cromwell Town or Arrowtown. (Eichardt's Private Hotel, B, L)
