Barb’s 23 years of experience working with animals at the Calgary Zoo has infused her with a passion for seeing these animals in the wild and fully experiencing their natural habitats. Barb’s extensive travels have taken her all over the world (to over 30 countries on 6 continents) and have allowed her the opportunity to experience nature at its best... from game watching in Africa, pursuing Rhinos on foot in Java and Nepal, jungle trekking in Borneo, Thailand, and the Amazon, to swimming with Sea Lions in the Galapagos and experiencing the history of China. In addition, she has spent a month in India on a volunteer project. Barb has led many trips for the Calgary Zoo into Kenya, as well as two trips to Peru, and a trip that visited both Peru & Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Barb is fun-loving, adventurous and an attentive host, and she looks forward to sharing with you a trip of a lifetime.
