Gillian is a self proclaimed elephant addict, but her enthusiasm and genuine love of nature (fortified by her Zoology degree) doesn’t stop there. She has been working in the Education department of the Calgary Zoo for 19 years and has invented and presented hundreds of programs for all ages, most notably “In the Heat of the Night” Valentine’s show, Zoo Sleepovers, Calgary Zoo Speaker’s bureau, and corporate teambuilders.

Gillian has lead Zoofaris to Ecuador, including the Galapagos Islands & Amazon jungle, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe prior to having her two children. She returns to the Zoofari program eager to share with you her knowledge and love of nature, big and small. When travelling with Gillian be prepared for enthusiasm, a positive attitude, a grand adventure and memories to last a lifetime!
