Laura Glick has eleven years experience working in environmental education at the Calgary Zoo. With an academic background in International Development and Journalism, she thrives on integrating cultural, social and natural sciences. 

Determined to be semi-nomadic, Laura (seen on the left hiking in Bolivia) has visited 26 countries to date and recently lived in South America for six months. Delighted to seek out hidden travel treasures and experience local history and knowledge, no adventure is passed up. From herding cattle in Ecuador to wedding crashing in India; from surfing in Peru to tracking leopards in Kenya, her enthusiasm for immersion in a new place is contagious.
