Laura Glick has eight years experience working in environmental education at the Calgary Zoo. With an academic background in International Development and Journalism, she thrives on integrating cultural, social and natural sciences. With an insatiable travel appetite, Laura (seen at above in India on the 2006 Zoofari) has visited 22 countries to date and lived in Mexico and Zanzibar. Delighted to seek out hidden travel treasures and experience local history and knowledge, no adventure is passed up. From wedding crashing in India to spontaneously entering dance competitions in Cuba; from sleeping next to the hippo tank with a group of girl guides at the Zoo to observing tigers at dusk in Northern India, her enthusiasm for immersion in a new place is contagious.
