Kim’s love of travel started at an early age when her parents took her on various trips to the US. But it was in high school, when she had the opportunity to travel with her class overseas, that she truly caught the travel bug. Years of personal travel to many diverse countries plus over 16 years in the travel industry have contributed to Kim’s wealth of travel-related knowledge.

Kim has experienced a wide range of travel styles, ranging from backpacker to our “Civilized” level, both as an independent traveler and on a variety of small group adventures. Her real passion is to travel off the beaten path in order to more fully appreciate a country’s culture and history. She loves to learn more about local customs from the people she meets.

Countries she has visited include:
South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Australia, France, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Belize, Mexico, Dominican Republic, USA. Kim recently travelled with her family to Panama, and she is planning a trip to Ecuador in July 2012.
