Lana is our most recent addition to the Civilized Adventures team, but she's certainly no stranger to travel! Lana graduated from SAIT's two year Travel and Tourism program in 2006, and has been working in adventure travel ever since. Her passion for travel began at an early age when her parents introduced her to the many rewards of traveling “off the beaten path”. From exotic foods and new cultures to the life-long memories, lessons, and skills taken from each and every trip, it has given her a profound appreciation for all that is adventure travel.

Lana’s travel palette so far includes trekking in Peru; extensive travel throughout Brazil, Costa Rica and Mexico; a destination wedding in the Dominican Republic; exploring Vietnam from top to bottom; a visit to Australia and the often overlooked island of Tasmania; hiking, wine tasting and safaris in South Africa, and stopovers in the unique cities of Hong Kong and Amsterdam.
