Margaret (Margie) Woo’s deep fascination with the animal world eventually brought her to and has kept her at the Calgary Zoo since 1999. Over the years, she has had diverse experience as an educator and is currently the Corporate Education Program Coordinator. Margie has been gaining tremendous experience in program facilitation, particularly with team builders, and in providing a variety of “edutainment” to large adult groups.

Margie started with Civilized Adventures in 2007 on a trip to Peru/Ecuador. It was an incredible, euphoric journey for Margie and has ignited a strong desire in her to continue travelling. She loves meeting new people, exploring different cultures, and engaging people into the wonderful world of the wild. Margie is looking forward to hosting you, with her great energy and enthusiasm, on this adventure to Ecuador.
