Why Botswana?

The best of Botswana’s wildlife viewing experiences are found on private lands, called concessions. In some reserves and in any private concession you can also go on walking safaris and on night safaris - truly amazing!

To feel Africa underfoot, going beyond the boundaries of a vehicle, is truly a privilege! Variety is also found in your surroundings, from the vast Kalahari grasslands to the unique Okavango Delta.

We suggest at least two nights in any area, and we would adjust nights to accommodate the seasons and bring you the best experience possible at whatever time of year you can travel.

You’ll enjoy tremendous variety in Botswana, including the vast Kalahari grasslands (haunting landscapes, ancient cultures, desert wildlife), the unique Okavango Delta (a wetland within a desert), and the marshes, savannah and riverine environments of the Kwando Concession.

Activities are varied, accommodation is excellent and intimate (our favourite camps take only 8-20 people) and the guides are top-notch. Botswana will appeal to birders, wildlife lovers and adventurers.
