Brief Itinerary

Day 1 - ARRIVE QUITO: Meet and greet by your guide and driver, then transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 - QUITO (B, L): Full day guided tour of colonial Quito (cobbled streets, workshops, Spanish-era buildings, etc.). Enjoy a traditional lunch at one of Quito’s finest restaurants.
Days 3 - 6 - GALAPAGOS ISLANDS (4B, 3L, 4D): Fly to the Galapagos Islands. Meet your naturalist guide and embark on a 5-day cruise. Each island brings unique flora, fauna, and experiences to your adventure. Explore on foot and by zodiac; snorkel with sea lions and possibly penguins; or just relax. Anchor each night in a quiet cove. Your naturalist guide provides evening briefings and the yacht’s chef ensures you are recharged with hearty meals.
Days 7 & 8 - OTAVALO (2B, 2L): Fly to Quito and continue to the town of Otavalo, nestled in an Andean valley. Spend two nights in a lovely and historic hacienda that overlooks the town. Enjoy the charm of the Otavaleños as you barter in the centuries-old market, surrounded by some of South America’s finest handicrafts. Hike around a crater-lake, shop at the famous highland market, explore the countryside on a gentle horseback ride, or relax at the hacienda.
Day 9 - QUITO (B): Visit the equatorial monument en-route to Quito. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Days 10 - 12 - AMAZON (3B, 3L, 3D): The trip to Sacha Lodge is an adventure in itself, ending with a canoe ride across a placid lake to the lodge. Learn the secrets of the rainforest from specialist local guides: enjoy morning and afternoon excursions (and even night walks), and rest during midday when the creatures of the forest are less active. A special feature is the extensive canopy walkway system that allows you to see colourful birds and primates often invisible from the ground!
Days 13 & 14 - QUITO (2B): Return to Quito. Next morning transfer to the airport.
