Remember: this is a sample itinerary based on our recommended highlights for a trip of this length. We have years of experience sending people to Egypt and so should you have differing interests or more time we are ready and able to create your own tailored itinerary.

Brief Itinerary
Day 1 - ARRIVE CAIRO: Meet our representative upon arrival at the airport. Visa is available on arrival or in advance. Transfer to the hotel.
Days 2 & 3 - CAIRO (2B, 2L, 2D): Afternoon tour with your guide/Egyptologist to the famous Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and the fascinating Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Special dinner tonight.
Day 3: Tour the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx . These are the only of the “Seven Wonders of the Ancient World” still standing today. Tonight: Sound & Light Show and dinner at the Pyramids.
Days 4 & 5 - LUXOR (2B, 2L, 2D): Fly to Luxor. See the sites of ancient Thebes: the temples of Karnak and Luxor, including attending the unique Sound & Light show at Karnak Temple; discover the tombs of the Valley of the Kings and other sites of the West Bank. Afternoons are at leisure.
Days 6 & 7 - ASWAN & ABU SIMBEL (2B, 2L, 2D): Fly to Aswan; visit the High Dam and the quarry: see the unfinished obelisk. Boat trip to the island-temple of Philae. Tour the acclaimed Nubian Museum.
Day 7: Morning fly-in tour to Abu Simbel. Lunch at a typical Nubian restaurant in Aswan. Boat ride on the Nile to a Nubian village for a special “cultural connection”.
Days 8 & 9 - CAIRO (2B, 2L, 2D): Fly to Cairo.
Day 9: Tour Islamic and Medieval Cairo with lunch overlooking the Citadel.
Day 10 - DEPART or EXTEND (B): Transfer to the Cairo International Airport.
