Sept. 25/26: - to AFRICA: Fly via London to Nairobi.
Sept. 27 & 28 — NAIROBI: Orientation tour, visit an animal orphanage and craft shops; time to relax and Welcome Dinner. (Norfolk Hotel, 2nts, 1B, 2D)
Sept. 29/30 & Oct. 1/2 — MASAI MARA: Fly to the Masai Mara. Track the famous migration and resident species of the area. (Governors’ Main Camp, 4nts, 4B, 4L, 4D)
Oct. 3 — NAIROBI: Time to relax or explore prior to dinner at a favourite local restaurant. (Norfolk Hotel, 1nt, 1B, 1D)
Oct. 4/5/6 — PARC NATIONAL DES VOLCANS: Fly to Kigali, Rwanda and drive to Parc National des Volcans. Spend 2 days tracking one of 5 habituated mountain gorilla families with expert trackers and guides. (Gorilla’s Nest Hotel, 3nts, 3B, 2L, 3D)
Oct. 7 — KIGALI: Return to Kigali. Visit a market, cultural centre, and the special genocide memorial (time permitting). Celebrate over our Farewell Dinner. (Serena Hotel, 1nt, 1B, 1L, 1D)
