Brief Itinerary
July 8/9 — to AFRICA: Overnight flights take you via London to Nairobi, Kenya.
July 10 — NAIROBI: Orientation tour, visit an animal orphanage and craft shops. Welcome Dinner. (Southern Sun Mayfair, 1nt, 1D)
July 11, 12, 13 & 14 — MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE: Drive to the northeast area of the Masai Mara. Search for resident species including lion & cheetah. Visit a local Maasai village.

July 15 — ARUSHA: Drive back to Nairobi, then fly to Tanzania. (Arumeru River Lodge, 1nt, 1B, 1L, 1D)
July 16, 17 & 18 — NGORONGORO CRATER: Drive to Karatu and spend the next two full days exploring the world’s largest intact caldera, home to some 30,000 large mammals!

July 19, 20 & 21 — SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK: Drive into the park to explore the plains where scenic kopjes (rocky outcrops) dot the horizon. Consider optional hot air ballooning (~US$499 booked in advance). (Serengeti Sopa Lodge, 3nts, 3B, 3L, 3D)
July 22/23 - KILIMANJARO & HOMEWARD: Fly to Kilimanjaro and onwards to Nairobi. Stop for a Farewell Dinner then return to the airport to board international flights home. (1B, 1L, 1D)
Cost
Starting Nairobi, Ending Kilimanjaro:
- CA$6,499 per adult (twin-share, or triple with 2 adults & 1 child)
- CA$6,200 per Teenager (>12 & <16, twin or triple-share with child)
- CA$4,385 per Child (<12, sharing w/2 adults or 2 teens)
