Brief Itinerary

Sept. 14/15 — to AFRICA: Overnight flights take you via London to Nairobi, Kenya.

Sept. 16 — NAIROBI:
Time to relax and Welcome Dinner.
(Nairobi Safari Club, 1nt, D)

Sept. 17 & 18 — LAKE NAKURU: Discover a plethora of bird life and watch for endangered species including black rhino on twice-daily game drives. (Lion Hill Lodge, 2nts, 2B, 2L, 2D)

Sept. 19 & 20 — MASAI MARA (Eastern): Drive to the eastern border of the Masai Mara Game Reserve and track the famous migration and resident species of the area. (Siana Springs Camp, 2nts, 2B, 2L, 2D)

Sept. 21 & 22 — MASAI MARA (Western): Game drive to the western section of the reserve, increasing our chances of seeing massive herds of wildebeest & zebra. Optional hot-air ballooning (~US$450pp).

Sept. 23 & 24 — SERENGETI (Western Corridor): Drive south into the famous Serengeti. Stake out the Grumeti River& possibly witness the elusive river crossing! (Mbalageti Lodge, 2nts, 2B, 2L, 2D)

Sept. 25 & 26 — SERENGETI (South Central): Seek resident wildlife among the picturesque kopjes (rocky outcrops) of the region.

Sept. 27 & 28 — NGORONGORO CRATER: Explore the world’s largest intact caldera, home to some 30,000 large mammals!

Sept. 29/30 - ARUSHA & HOMEWARD:
Drive to Arusha, then fly to Nairobi and continue homeward bound. (1B, 1L, 1D)
