Gorilla Trekking
We have multiple options available for travelers wishing to track Mountain Gorillas and interact with them in their natural habitat. Wake up early and trek into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes, while experienced trackers bring you amongst a family of Mountain Gorillas. These massive primates are extremely rare, with under 800 remaining. You will get within metres of the family, and be privileged to spend time amongst them.
Permits to view gorillas are limited to a maximum number per day. They are in extremely high demand and should be secured as early as possible – they can be purchased up to 24 months prior. Gorilla trekking to see Mountain Gorillas is available in Uganda and Rwanda.
Gorilla Trekking adventures may include:
