George is a Wakuria, the notorious hunter-gatherer tribe living on the Western boundary of the Serengeti National Park. He grew up in an era where being among wild animals was part of daily life and at a very young age learned how to respect the wilderness and all within. It seemed natural that his first job was as a research assistant to wildlife vets working in the Serengeti National Park. Here he received valuable hands-on experience with wildlife. He has endless hours of campfire stories about his adventures - and misadventures. Staying close to wildlife George soone became a guide and he has been a guide ever since. Today he is highly respected in the guide community with years of experience. George’s easy going and relaxed personality makes him a great safari guide.
